OWNER's PLEASE READ!! If you are concerned your cat is experiencing life threatening urethral obstruction, please take your cat to the closest emergency hospital immediately. DO NOT fill out anything here or contact FLUTD Fighters directly. We work directly with veterinary clinics to get owner's the financial assistance they need. We currently are only serving the Austin, Texas area. As we obtain additional funding we hope to be able to expand outside of the Austin area.

At this time we are only partnering with Central Texas Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital-both South Austin and Round Rock locations. Their number is 512-892-9038 and select either South Austin or Round Rock location to speak to one of the Emergency veterinarians. Please present your case and provide the necessary information to make sure the patient is a candidate for FLUTD Fighters assistance. If the EC veterinarian approves the transfer, please be sure to send all pertinent records, bloodwork, etc... to the correct e-mail: [email protected] or [email protected]
Please find below a few of the guidelines and policies governing the transfer of a feline companion for the purpose of securing financial assistance from the FLUTD Fighters Foundation. For more in depth information or how you can help please e-mail us directly at [email protected].
1. The cat must be experiencing life threatening emergent urethral obstruction at presentation to the veterinary clinic/hospital.
2. The owner must apply to Care Credit and Scratch Pay prior to being considered for approval for FLUTD Fighters assistance.
3. An emergency veterinarian at CTVSEH must approve the transfer.
